Marriage
Preparation Marriage is a sacred event, a sacrament. The ritual celebrated before the community is only the beginning of the event, not the final step. The couple continues the "sacramenting" process as they live their convenantal relationship and life together. To enter the preparatory period toward the celebration of this sacrament, education and formation are required. In order to initiate the process please contact Margaret Graham at 775-323-6894, ext. 26. A minimum of 6 months of preparation is required prior to the celebration.
Annulments
A declaration of nullity does not mean
that your marriage never happened, nor
that your children are illegitimate. It
means that the conditions for a sacramental
marriage were not met. If your life has
been touched by divorce and you wish to
seek an annulment, remember there is always
a way in which you can be helped by the
Church.
